The player controls the wind, which blows a flower petal through the levels. Flying close to flowers catches other petals into the wind and this can also affect the world, for example bringing vibrant color to grey scale environments. There is no text or dialogue, narrative is formed through "visual representation and emotional cues."
Flower's stunning graphics and ambient music are so intriguing yet relaxing. I love it. It was quite difficult to get used to the six-axis mechanism considering I'm very uncoordinated and had just started using a ps3. While I can see how many people could get bored easily, my not being a massive gamer and being more into animation means this is something i can really appreciate, i love the idea of a game being so focused on the visuals and the overall experience/atmosphere rather than intense gameplay and guns.
