Family is asleep in the den/Mum is out hunting-
-Baby fox hears something of interest outside and goes wandering out to investigate, getting lost in the process.
-He follows a bug, butterfly or a wee mouse or something and gets lost in the process. Think Lion King when Pumba is sniffing out a bug just before Nala tries to eat him…bad copy but have a look-
Family are heading home from an outing-
-He gets distracted (see above) and wanders off.
-He gets stolen by something (badger badger) but escapes later, finding himself somewhere unknown deep in the forest.
-He falls into a river and gets washed away, he manages to find a way out later but he’s been carried far from the den.
If we pick a distractive object that the fox has never come across before I could potentially fit this in with my animation module so that we could have an actual animation for the opening sequence…however I don’t think the story will quite fit, current animation Ideas are a fox badger or hedgehog comes across a soft toy of itself and I have to animate it’s reaction. Or a hedgehog finding a scarf or a hat, rolling up in it…a ‘tea cosy hedgehog’ (tooo complicated probably…cloth… :S)
Anyways I’m going to do some research into fox lifestyle to find out if baby’s get out of the den, how old are they then etc.
