“Woody is a rag doll who weighs a pound or less. How he moves, how fast he drops off the bed, how much time it takes him to start and stop should be vastly different from the way Andy moves. Andy’s six-foot-something, a big kid: it’s going to take him a certain amount of time to get up, to move through a doorway, to stop. Woody can be a little more springy. He can run across a room and flop down. You should get different feelings from the two characters.” Bobby Podesta- Supervising Animator pg66/67
“In Toy Story, because of the limitations at the time, there’s not much stylistic difference between the way the toys and the humans are animated.” Charles Solomon Pg 66
