Well I feel the meeting with Jim actually went quite well, he didn't have much of a problem with any of my aims and objectives, just a few tweaks here and there.
As for the changing of the Aim suggested by John, Jim seems to be on the side of Colin in that I don't need to change my Aim, If I was going to then he preferred-
'To what extent can the study of animal behaviour and movement inform the development and rigging of 3D imaginary creatures?'
But overall wants me to keep-
'Investigate the ways in which the scientific methods of predicting the movement and behaviour of extinct animals can inform 3D fantasy creature development.'
he advised taking out the word extinct or adding 'in particular' to show that I'm not just focusing on extinct animals however decided that development includes rigging and it wouldn't be right to have the term rigging in the question. Jim also agreed that I could change 'fantasy' to 'imaginary'-
'To what extent can the scientific methods of predicting the movement and behaviour of extinct animals in particular, inform 3D imaginary creature development?'
I feel the ‘in particular’ isn't really fitting in at the moment, I'll have a think.
